Chargeback Analyst

WaterWipesDrogheda, Louth

Role Review:

The Chargeback Analyst is a critical position within the Global Supply Chain function. This role will be responsible for maintaining chargebacks, reporting various accounts receivable deductions, including monthly reports, accounting related responsibilities, trends and analytics.

Role Deliverables:

  • Identify, review, monitor and investigate deductions and chargebacks while updating and maintaining status through the chargeback tracker.
  • Pull deduction details internally, from Retailer's Portals, request backup from our Accounts department / Vendor Relations contacts.
  • Gather appropriate documentation and collaborate inter-departmentally (i.e. Operations / EDI, Account Executives, Sales, Fulfilment, Distribution, etc.) to determine non-compliance or chargeback's validity.
  • Prepare accurate disputes and submit through our internal portals or email.
  • Work towards minimizing chargeback losses by identifying opportunities for process improvement and suggesting strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in other critical projects or ad hoc reporting requests as assigned by Supply Chain Manager – NA and Global Supply Chain Financial Analyst.
  • Process Invoices and Review Coding.
  • Produce KPI reports and operational analytics.
  • Provide Support to the Customer Services Team when required.

Experience and Qualifications:

The skillset required to be successful in this role will include strong communication skills, a customer service focus and the ability to embrace change and drive process improvement.

  • Strong organization skills and capable of handling multiple projects.
  • Demonstrable research and analytical skills.
  • An ability to meet deadlines, logically tackle problems and set priorities.
  • Communicate directly with our client’s analysts to produce research materials.
  • Ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, principally Excel.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a FMCG Environment.
