The current vacancies are as follows:

Primary Care:

One permanent, whole time vacancy in Paediatrics based in Dun Laoghaire Primary Care Centre, Co Dublin

One Part Time Paediatric (0.6 WTE), Specified Purpose (until 06/01/2026) in Bray Primary Care Centre, Wicklow

One Part Time Adult (0.5 WTE), Specified Purpose (12 months) in Bray Primary Care Centre Wicklow.

Older Persons:

One Permanent, whole time vacancy in Dalkey Community Unit for Older Persons, Kilbegnet Close, Dalkey Co Dublin

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Senior Physiotherapist from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Please note this panel will only be formed for IHA Dublin South & East and remain active for one year only.

Purpose of the Post:

To work in conjunction with other team members and other service providers in co-ordinating and developing the service to meet the needs of the service user group and the objectives of the organisation. The Senior Physiotherapist will be responsible for the provision of a high quality Physiotherapy Service and will carry out clinical and educational duties as required for clients across Dublin South and Wicklow region.

Primary Care/ Social Care

The Senior Physiotherapist will be responsible for the provision of a high quality service in accordance with standards of professional practice.

The Senior Therapist will work with the Therapy Manager in ensuring the co-ordination, development and delivery of a quality, client centred service within the designated clinical area within their geographical area (eg working in Wicklow or working in Dublin South).

The Senior Therapist will develop and maintain high standards of clinical practice within this area through clinical evaluation, audit and research opportunities.

The Senior Therapist will engage actively in clinical and educational duties as required and will evaluate the above described service.

The Senior Therapist will contribute to a structured process for education of senior and staff grade colleagues, undergraduates and other disciplines.
