Bakehaus Cafe is a branch of the well-established Home Bakery company which has numerous locations around Dundalk town. Beginning in March 2020 the Avenue Road cafe has built a reputation for quality breakfast and lunch fare alongside a busy bakery counter.

Our emphasis is on high standards of fresh, home-cooked foods and excellent service.

We are looking for an enthusiastic & experienced chef to join our team and help develop new ideas for the cafe as we continue into our 3rd year of operation.

A positive mindset and flair for creativity are welcome.

Responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining high standards of food
• Excellent HACCP implementation
• Stock ordering & control
• Liaising with and a small team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the cafe and busy take away service.

Passion for quality food & excellent communication skills are essential.

No Sundays/Bank holidays and No Evening Work!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €11.00-€14.00 per hour DOE

Qualifications

• 2+ years' of culinary or kitchen experience
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
