Chef de Partie @ Veldons Seafarer

Veldons Seafarer is a traditional Irish Bar & Restaurant located in the heart of Connemara (please note before applying we are an hour outside of Galway city and approx. 45 minutes from Westport town).

We are recruiting a Chef de Partie to assist in covering all sections of the kitchen with an immediate start date preferred - accommodation can also be provided for the right candidate.

The Responsibilities

• This position will be across all sections of the kitchen.
• Prepare and present all dishes to our regular high standards.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the rest of the kitchen team and those in other areas as required in order to provide a smooth and efficient service.
• Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes.

The Candidate

• A working knowledge of HACCP.
• A strong work ethic and ability to take instruction.
• High standards in food preparation and presentation.
• Good command of spoken English.
• Superb teamwork, time management and communication skills.
