Chef de Partie / Commis Chef
The 4* Great Northern Hotel, Bundoran are currently looking for a Commis chef to join their team to work in a busy hotel grill bar & restaurant.
We are a 4 star family run hotel located on its own 18 hole golf course overlooking the Atlantic ocean.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years experience in a busy commercial kitchen as a chef de partie/ commis chef.
Job Type / Category for chef de partie/ commis chef position:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes for a busy hotel bar & restaurant
- Helping and assisting the senior chefs to execute a high level of service
- Ensuring you maintain a high standard of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
Should have at least a year's experience in a commercial kitchen
- HACCP knowledge and training
- A genuine passion for cooking
- Ability to work in a clean and organised manner
