Title of Post: Chef, Senior, Mallow General Hospital

Purpost of Post:

Preparation and production of meals for the Hospital and other services as outlined above at the required time in accordance with the Hospital and statutory standards. Tosupervise the team in The Main Kitchen including Grade 1 & Grade 2 Chefs, Catering Assistants and other relevant staff in the performance of their duties and in line with policy and statutory standards.

Key Working Relationships

The Catering Team work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The Senior Chef will be expected to have working relationship with the entire Catering Team, Nursing, Care Assistants, Dieticians, Speech & Language Therapists and other members of the Clinical and Non Clinical Teams in Mallow General Hospital.

Reporting Relationships

This Post Reports to the Catering & Household Manager and Director of Nursing.

This Post is reported into by All Chefs Grade 1 and 2 and Catering Assistants assigned to the main kitchen area.
