As a CIE Data Solutions Architect you will play a key technical leadership role in the design, development, and delivery of enterprise grade data solutions that underpin Customer Impacting Error (CIE) remediation, customer redress, and prevention activity across the bank.

Working within the CIE Data & Analytics Solutions team, you will be accountable for delivering robust, reproducible, auditable and defensible technical solutions covering issue scoping, cohort identification, eligibility logic, historical recalculations, restitution rules, evidencing, control design, and monitoring outputs in line with internal policy and regulatory expectations, including the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI).

This role requires strong hands on capability and a delivery mindset. You will lead technical solution design for one or more CIE workstreams, drive consistent standards and documentation, and work closely with colleagues across Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Audit to ensure clarity, traceability and quality from requirements through to customer outcomes.

You will report into the Senior Manager, CIE Data & Analytics Solutions (and operate as one of the core technical leaders within the CIE capability team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design, build and delivery of CIE data solutions for assigned end to end remediation and redress workstreams, ensuring outcomes are accurate, fair, auditable and defensible.
• Translate business, operational and regulatory requirements into robust data models, technical specifications, calculation logic and solution designs, suitable for regulatory and audit scrutiny.
• Design and implement data pipelines and logic supporting issue scoping, cohort and eligibility identification, historical recalculations, restitution, MI, evidencing and control monitoring.
• Lead the development, testing, validation and documentation of calculator logic for account corrections (e.g., mortgage recalculations and historical account behaviour).
• Produce and maintain high quality documentation and artefacts (e.g. solution designs, logic dictionaries, lineage, validation packs, runbooks) ensuring full traceability from source data to customer outcomes.

Requirements:

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• 5+ years experience delivering data solutions within Financial Services or another highly regulated environment.
• Strong hands on experience in designing and delivering data driven remediation, rectification, redress, regulatory reporting or high scrutiny analytical solutions.

Desired

• Experience with mortgage, loan, cards product data, including interest calculations, account history corrections and restitution logic.
• Experience supporting assurance, audit, or regulatory engagement activities and producing defensible evidence packs.
• Familiarity with Teradata, advanced Excel, VBA, and modern cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).

This is a permanent position, based in PTSB Head Office, St. Stephen’s Green, Dublinor Cork Airport Business Park(Hybrid option available within the Republic of Ireland only)
