We are seeking applications from energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the above positions. The successful candidate will be afforded all necessary training and development in line with the role. Candidates must be highly motivated and creative, with a passion for engaging with Service Users on a daily basis. Candidates will contribute to enriching the lives of our Service Users.

Job ObjectivesWe are seeking applications for the role of a Cleaner. The post holder will ensure the centre environment is maintained to the highest hygienic standards.
This will include the following on a day-to-day basis:
- Live our Mission, Vision and Values.
- To complete day to day cleaning responsibilities as outlined withing the role specific key task list.
- Maintain a strict code of personal and general hygiene in the workplace as per work schedules and existing policies and procedures.
- Attend training courses as required e.g., AED, Hygiene, HACCP, Fire Prevention etc.
- Clean and disinfect all furniture, desks, handles, chairs, equipment (where applicable) and surfaces.
- Clean windows internally, sills, ledges, handles, mirrors and picture frames.
- Wipe down doors and clean on top of doors.
- Clean skirting boards and wood works of dust.
- Clean light switches & fittings, lamp shades, plugs, sockets.
- Clean inside, behind and on top of cupboards and furnishings.
- Clean behind and under and behind furniture & hoover/wipe sofas.
- Upholstery vacuumed, cushions moved and cleaned underneath.
- Vacuum and mop hard floors.
- Wipe and disinfect doors, handles and on top of them.
- Clean cornice / curtain rails and, coving, picture rail.
- Clean internal mirrors.
- Clean windows internally, sills & ledges.
- Upholstery is vacuumed, cushions are moved and cleaned below.
- Wipe all skirting boards and wood works of dust.
- Remove cobwebs.
- Wipe down banister, stairway, and railings.
- Wash and disinfect shower cabinet / screen from inside and out / descale.
- Clean and disinfect toilet from inside and out.
- Wash, disinfect and descale sink / shine taps.
- Wash down tiles, remove mould & wipe tiles.
- Clean mirrors.
- Wipe clean towel rail.
- Wipe down extractor fan.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area.
Experience:
- 1 Years’ previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience in working in a service for Individuals with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities and/or Mental Health.
Skills:
- Full Clean Driver’s License.
- Willingness to work as part of a multi-departmental team.
- Willingness to learn.
- Dedicated, reliability and flexible approach to work.
- Excellent overall demeanour.
- An ability to empathise with and understand the needs of others.
- A strong desire to be ones best.
