Cleaner/Supervisor

We are looking for Part-time Cleaners and Cleaning Supervisors to join our team in Clonmel, Co Tipperary

Working pattern:

Cleaner: Monday to Friday 17:00-21:00

Cleaner Supervisor Weekend: Friday from 6 PM to 11:30 PM, Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Vacuum carpets and mop/buff floors.
• Clean toilets and polish glass/brass surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment safely (per COSHH guidelines).
• Display safety signage during cleaning operations.
• Report defects and safety issues promptly.
• Maintain security awareness and report suspicious activities.
• Undertake job-related training as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Work effectively as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.

Extra supervisory tasks:

• Assist the Manager in supervising, allocating workloads, monitoring progress and performance of the cleaning staff
• Carry out stock checks on equipment and materials as required
• Organize the relief/ holiday cover
• Ad-hoc duties and other related tasks as assigned by the Cleaning Manager

Qualifications and Experience:

• Good work record, with previous cleaning experience desirable.
• Experience with cleaning equipment is desirable.
• Basic health and safety knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Flexible, honest, and reliable.
