Administrator Clerical Officer Grade IV

Full Time, Permanent Contract

The post holder will join a dedicated and skilled administration team. This will be an organisational wide administrative function with a large component of this post providing administrative support to the Gait Laboratory and other Enhanced Complex Care Pathways as required.

Essential requirements are:

  • Three years relevant hospital administration experience or similar
  • Excellent customer care, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Relevant ICT skills to include dictation typing and a comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent team-work skills and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Demonstrate a flexible working approach and personal motivation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all dealings with members of the public and clinic staff
  • Excellent organisational skills, particularly being able to prioritise tasks
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Desirable requirements are:

  • A relevant third level / QQI qualification
  • Knowledge of CM8 clinical manager system
  • Knowledge of medical terminology

Department of Health Salary applies, Clerical Officer, Grade IV, €36,109 - €55,463
