Clerical Officer to Executive Team
Permanent, Full Time, Grade IV
Applications are invited for the above post from suitably qualified persons
The Administrative Assistant will provide a supporting administrative service to the Executive Team and the CEO Admin Team, with a particular focus on the administrative aspects of a variety of Committees and projects, in collaboration with the CEO Admin team, to ensure the smooth operation of the CEO's department on a daily basis.
The candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office, possess:
1. Qualifications and Knowledge/Experience/Skills
Essential Requirements:
- Have at least three year’s satisfactory experience in an office administration role and possess sufficient administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the grade.
- Efficient and timely administrative and record keeping skills and minute taking skills.
- Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of computer packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Teams, and Outlook.
- Experience of planning, taking initiative and working independently.
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail in verbal and written communication.
Desirable Requirements:
- A sound background in and knowledge of the Health Services Sector.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively and network with all levels of stakeholders in the Organisation.
- Tact and discretion when interacting with all stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Providing quality, confidential administrative support to the Executive Team and the CEO Admin Team.
- Excellent organisational, time management and administration skills; with process focused experience.
- Strong team working skills with the ability to liaise and collaborate with all members of the Senior Management Team and other stakeholders; and build effective working relationship with other and, provide cross cover.
- A “can do” attitude with a keen interest in how the Hospital is run from an operational perspective.
- Ability to process work professionally and efficiently in a busy, fast paced and dynamic work environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
This is a permanent full-time vacancy with the Executive Team. Salary for this post is aligned with Clerical Officer Grade IV pay-scale.
