Clinical Management System Project Support Officer (Grade IV)

- Specified purpose duration contract (15 months approx.)

The project support officer will play a key role within the organisation by assisting in the delivery and implementation of the CMS by supporting the CMS team and change manager during the project. The successful candidate will facilitate overall project success and encourage user adoption.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and clerical support and will play a vital role in the day-to day running of the operational requirements as a key point of contact. They will have the knowledge and experience to deal with queries as they arise and will be expected to problem solve in areas of work and develop solutions in a timely manner. Exceptional written and oral skills are required as well as the ability to multi-task. Good organisational and time management skills are also required.
Essential Requirements
Qualifications:
- Have satisfactory experience as a Clerical Officer in the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004
or
- Have obtained a pass (Grade D) in at least five subjects from the approved list of subjects in the Department of Education Leaving Certificate Examination, including Mathematics and English or Irish. Candidates should have obtained at least Grade C on higher level papers in three subjects in that examination.
or
- Have completed a relevant examination at a comparable standard in any equivalent examination in another jurisdiction
or
- Hold a comparable and relevant third level qualification of at least level 6 on the National Qualifications Framework maintained by Qualifications and Quality Ireland, (QQI)
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the last 5 years in a relevant Administration role.
- Expert knowledge and proficiency of software packages, including in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint) including data entry, manipulation and file security.
- Proficient in hosting in person and Teams meetings (meetings, calendars, file sharing etc).
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Desirable Requirements
Qualifications:
- Computer/Administration qualification in a related field or equivalent
- Customer Service skills
Experience:
- Experience within the education/healthcare sector
- Experience using SAP, WordPress, or graphic software packages, such as Canva.
- Experience of financial tracking and reporting.
- Understanding of mailing lists and management of same.
- Experience file management – maintaining and archiving documents.
- Comfortable with physical document preparation ( printing/binding/storage)
- Knowledge and experience of marketing campaigns (direct email/digital channels/social media/lead conversion)
Essential skills and Knowledge:
- Strong organisational and time management skills, good written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with project management tools, an understanding of Specialist Palliative Care clinical workflows and a knowledge of information governance principles.
