Clinical Nurse Manager Acute Medical Assessment Unit, Maternity Leave Cover

The role of the AMAU CNM2 is to manage the department, support patients, relatives and staff through the provision of clinical, managerial and educational excellence. The CNM2 will play a pivotal role in the co-ordination and management of activity and resources associated with AMAU. In collaboration with key stakeholders the post holder will facilitate the implementation of the National Clinical Care Programmes with particular emphasis on the Acute Medicine Programme thus ensuring the provision of the highest standards of care is consistent with the hospital ethos and strategic plan. They will work in partnership with all staff members including the Directorate Nurse Manager, CNM3, Director of Nursing, Site Nurse Managers (SNM), Clinical Director /Specialty Consultants and the inter/trans-disciplinary teams to maintain , develop and improve patient centered, quality, safe care.
