A vacancy exists for full-time permanent Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) role in Ailesbury respite services.
Ailesbury is a community respite house in Dundrum providing support to 80 adults. No more than five individuals at a time are supported during their breaks to engage in community based activities. Staff provide for a variety of nursing, social and emotional support needs.
Applications are invited for this position from suitably qualified candidates. This role requires a strong ability to lead a team and to problem solve and work on own initiative.
Essential Criteria:
- Have a RNID qualification and be presently registered and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Other Nursing disciplines with a minimum of 5 years experience in the area of intellectual disability may apply. Have experience in the area of intellectual disability, complex health needs and positive behaviour support.
- Recognised accredited management qualification.
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care with responsibility for managing budgets and resources.
- Have experience in the area of staff support, taking the lead in teams, resource management and administration duties.
- Be knowledgeable of Health Act 2007 and have experience and understanding of HIQA Regulations (2013).
- A detailed working knowledge of Safeguarding Policy.
- Possess a strong commitment to the provision of a quality individualised person centred service.
- Be highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the key working model.
- Possess experience in key-working and have knowledge of the quality system.
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
Salary scale : €62,699 - €79,227 LSI
- Should you have no prior public sector experience you will be placed on point 1 of the pay-scale above
