Vacancy exists for full-time permanent Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) role in Ailesbury
Ailesbury is a community respite house in Dundrum providing support to 70 adults. No more than five individuals at a time are supported during their breaks to engage in community-based activities. Staff provide for a variety of nursing, social and emotional support needs.
Applications are invited for this position from suitably qualified candidates. This role requires a strong ability to lead a team and to problem solve and work on own initiative.
Essential Criteria-CNM1:
· Have a RNID qualification and be presently registered and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Other Nursing disciplines with a minimum of 3 years Staff Nurse years experience in the area of intellectual disability may apply.
· Have at least 3 years Staff Nurse experience in the area of intellectual disabilities
· Have at least 6 months in the area of staff support, taking the lead in teams, resource management, and administration duties
· Be knowledgeable of Health Act 2007 and have experience and understanding of HIQA Regulations (2013).
· As a nurse manager within St Michaels House, be committed to the provision of a quality individualised service and to the principles of working in partnership with service users
· Possess a working knowledge of the Safeguarding Policy.
· Possess a strong commitment to the provision of a quality individualised person-centred service.
· Be committed to working as part of a team.
· Possess experience in key-working.
Desirable Criteria:
· Recognised management qualification desirable
· Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
Salary Scale:
Successful candidates will be paid in line with the revised consolidated HSE Clinical Nurse Manager 1 Scale. (Point 1 57,780 - Point 8 €68,046)
