APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:

CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER 1

TEES DAY SERVICE, DUBLIN 15

PERMANENT, PART - TIME CONTRACT (35 Hours per week)

Salary: €56,642 - € 66,705* (LSI)

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Essential:

  • NMBI Registration in the RNID division.

· Have a minimum of three years’ experience at staff nurse level in the area of intellectual disability.

· Have excellent clinical, communication, interpersonal, planning, organization and time management skills

  • Have a Full Clean valid Driving Licence and assess to own vehicle.
  • Be committed to pro-actively supporting individuals in all aspects of their daily lives and choices through a person-centred approach.
  • Ability to network with external agencies, PHN’s, GP’s, acute hospitals, schools etc.
  • Experience of working in an interdisciplinary /multidisciplinary team.
  • Have ability to manage a caseload and to work on own Initiative
  • Proficiency in English

Desirable:

  • Experience in epilepsy and diabetes.
  • Have proven organisational, leadership, communication, interpersonal and teambuilding skills
  • Experience working in community day service or residential setting providing supports to people with intellectual disabilities.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.

*Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework as set out in the job description.
