The Children and Young People’s Service within Avista provide interdisciplinary team supports, residential, family support and education services to 0-18 year old Children and Young People with complex needs and their families. The successful candidate is required to work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provide respite services to 0-18 year old children and young persons with complex needs. The candidates are also required to work in partnership with families within a family centred model.

SUPPORT SERVICES AND CDNTs
PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (37.5 Hours Per Week).
Salary: 62,699-79,227* (lsi)
*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience.

We have a full-time permanent vacancy for Clinical Nurse Manager 2 available in Cabra CDNT. However, at times duties may be assigned across the three teams.
You will be joining a dynamic, family centred, interdisciplinary team with excellent access to supervision and support from Nursing management and CDNM. The successful candidate will be required to carry out clinical and administrative duties in management, care, and treatment of children with a complex disability, to ensure that the optimum standard of care is provided within the CDNT. The post of CNM 2 has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within the CDNT.
Essential:
· Be registered with NMBI - RNID essential.
· Recognised Management Qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent
· Have depth and breadth of experience in Children’s Disability Nursing as relevant to the role.
· Full clean manual Irish driving licence.
· Proficiency in the English language.
Desirable:
· Experience in the area of paediatric mental health, autism and complex healthcare needs
· Have previous experience at CNM1 level/ equivalent within the area of Disability
· Have the ability to work effectively with families and Interdisciplinary Team
· Be a highly motivated individual with the ability to work on own initiative and the capacity to manage change.
· Possess training and experience in delivering same in areas relevant to the role – Early Bird, Cygnet etc
Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of AVISTA competency framework.
