Clinical Nurse Manager Emergency Dept

The post of CNM 2 has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are: quality assurance, people management, resource management, staffing and staff development, practice development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership. The Shift Leader is a critical clinical front line post and is required to safeguard patient care. The Shift Leader manages the Emergency Department from a leadership and administrative perspective.

The CNM2 Shift Leader in the Emergency Department will work closely with the CNM3, staff nurses, Clinical Facilitator, Consultants, Non Consultant Hospital Doctors, Ambulance Personnel, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Allied health Professionals.
