Position: Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1)
Location: Montenotte, Cork.
Employment type: Full Time Permanent 37.5 hour working week
Salary: €56,081 – €66,045 Clinical Nurse Manager 1 Salary scale as per the Department of Health & Children Consolidated Scales apply.
About the Role
As a CNM1 you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our residents. You will oversee the day-to-day clinical management of centre, under the guidance of the Person in Charge, ensuring high standards of care, compliance with regulations and a nurturing environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of residents.
- Supervise and support a team of staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement individual Short Breaks Passports / Support plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Monitor clinical practices and provide guidance, training and mentorship to staff.
- Manage risk, ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to and address any concerns in a proactive manner.
- Liaise with families, external agencies and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and high-quality service delivery.
Essential Requirements:
Applicants on the closing date for the competition must:
- Be a registered nurse with active NMBI registration.
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ post-registration experience, preferably in disability, residential or respite care.
- Possess a good working knowledge of HIQA standards and other relevant legislation.
- Demonstrate leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Full Clean Driver’s License and access to own vehicle is essential
