Clinical Nurse Manager I

Saint John of God Hospital, Stillorgan is an independent acute psychiatric with 180 inpatient beds and is one of the leading European providers in mental health services. The Hospital currently provides General Adult and specialist services in Substance Misuse, Psychotic Disorders, Eating Disorders, Psychiatry of Later Life and Adolescent Disorders. Outpatient services provide a range of services including psychiatry, psychology and access to Wellness and Recovery Action Plan services. The Hospital is affiliated with University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Dublin City University and the University of Limerick for undergraduate and postgraduate healthcare professional programmes.

Clinical Nurse Manager I (Specified Purpose)

· Have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in Mental Health.

· Have a strong clinical nursing background.

· A Management qualification is desirable.

· Ability to support management & staff in service delivery.

· Evidence of good interpersonal, communication, leadership and facilitation skills.

· Have ability to co-ordinate and motivate staff on your ward.
