We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Clinical Nurse Manager II to join our team in Dublin South East (CHO6). We have full-time opportunities within our teams in Sandymount and Leopardstown.
Contract Type: Permanent Post
Contract Hours: Full Time Post, 35 hours per week
Salary Scale: €58,245 – €69,260pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments)
This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service. This may increase in line with experience, as per INMO guidelines on annual leave.
Overview of the Post:
To work as a Clinical Nurse Manager II as a member of the Dublin Children’s Services, providing a quality, evidence based service to children and young people 0 – 18 years within an interdisciplinary framework and family centred practice and to support other staff and students as assigned. The aim of this programme is to provide a unified national approach to delivering disability health services so that each child has a clear pathway to the services they need, regardless of where they live, what school they attend or the nature of their disability or delay.

The successful candidate will have:
Essential Criteria:
- A recognised validated University Degree or an equivalent qualification in Intellectual Disability/ General or Children’s Nursing.
- Are registered in the relevant division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnaimhseachais na hEireann)or entitled to be so registered.
- Have at least 5 years post registration experience (or an aggregate of 5 years full-time post registration experience) of which 2 years must be in the area of children’s disability.
- Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
- Demonstrated evidence of continuous professional development.
- Be eligible to work in the State.
Annual Registration
- On appointment, practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the relevant division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnaimhseachais na hEireann).
- Practitioners must confirm annual registration with NMBI to Enable Ireland.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
- Experience of interdisciplinary team working.
- Good knowledge of child protection and child development.
- Experience of working in a community based setting
