Within Tipp UH, Medical 1 is a unit comprising of 29 beds, providing care to predominantly medical patients, cardiology patients not requiring CCU and some surgical patients. Staffed by a CNM 2, CNM 1 and skilled nursing team the focus is to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality patient care.
A strong ethos of team working exists, whereby nursing staff work closely with medical and allied health professionals to cohesively deliver patient focussed, evidence-based care.
