Clinical Nurse Manager, Operational
Purpose of the Role
The Clinical Nurse Manager II has a pivotal role in supporting the CNM III in the co- ordination, strategic planning and management of nursing activities and staff resources within the Emergency department at CHI Crumlin.
The post holder will work within a risk management framework to achieve HIQA Safer Better Healthcare standards. The post holder will provide professional and managerial leadership, particularly in the areas of staff development and future planning, ensuring that nursing practices allow the achievement of local, hospital and national objectives in the area of the Paediatric Emergency department.
Essential Criteria:
· RCN/RN Child branch with 5 years Post Graduate experience or RGN with 5 years’ Paediatric experience
· Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in an Emergency Medicine department
· Management experience
