Location of Post:

Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe, West and North West Health Region.

There is currently one specified purpose whole-time post available for temporary assignment. The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as the need arises.

A panel may be formed for Clinical Nurse Manager 3, Emergency Department & Acute Medical Assessment Unit, Portiuncula University Hospital, Galway, from which current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full time or part time duration may be filled.

Purpose of the Post:

To provide professional / clinical leadership in the Emergency Department (Adult and Paediatrics’) and Acute Medical Assessment Unit. To oversee the management of resources including staffing and staff development. To facilitate communication across the healthcare teams.
