CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER 1/SOCIAL CARE MANAGER 1

(PERMANENT PART TIME FIXED TERM APPROX 1 YEAR - 60 HOURS PER FORTNIGHT)

Essential Requirements

· Relevant Nursing / Social Care Qualification. If nursing qualification - on the live register of NMBI/An Bord Altranais - [RNID qualification preferable]. If social care, qualification must be on teh CORU approved list and the applicant must be CORU approved or undergoing registration.

· Minimum of 4 years experience post qualification.

· Have a knowledge of the Early Year’s Regulations for pre-schools.

· Experience in supporting children with additional support needs.

· Experience in and commitment to developing supports that are child/person centred.

· A proven ability to lead and support teams.

· Management experience.

· Commitment to develop professional knowledge and skills relevant to the role.

· Experience of working with children with a range of support needs to include behaviours of concern.

· Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills.

· Full current driving licence.

· An ability to demonstrate flexibility.

Desirable:

· Experience working in a pre-school setting.

· A relevant childcare qualification for the role [as per DYCA guidelines on qualifications].

· Have successfully completed a relevant management course or commitment to do so within a specific timeframe.
