Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this post is to the post holder has a pivotal role in co-ordination and management of activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are staffing and staff development, facilitating communication and professional/clinical leadership. The role will proactively manage the Theatre daily activities, together with the CNM2 to provide quality and safety outcomes for patients and their families.

Eligibility criteria, qualifications and experience

· RGN/RCN registered with NMBI;

· Minimum 3 years post registration with theatre nursing experience in an acute clinical environment within the last 7 years;

· A primary degree in Nursing or Post Graduate Diploma / Qualification in Nursing RCN/RGN.

CHI has transitioned to a process of a one commencement day per month for all new employees, CHI internal transfers and Secondments. This update to our on boarding process is aligned to changes in our monthly/fortnightly payroll and with the launch of our new corporate induction program. This process enhancement ensures that we can thoroughly prepare for your arrival and facilitate a smooth transition in your on boarding journey.

So that the on boarding team can confirm your start date, you will need to ensure that your mandatory training is completed at least 7 days prior to your commencement date.

It is important for you to note that if you do not have your pre-employments and mandatory training completed in time, your commencement date will be deferred to the next available date.
