St. Michael’s House provides a comprehensive range of services and supports to men, women, and children with disabilities and their families in 170 locations in the greater Dublin Area. We are currently inviting applications for the position of Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) for a permanent full-time role at Willowglade.
This is a key leadership role supporting the overall governance and management of the service, ensuring all care is delivered to a high standard and in a person-centred manner.
Essential Criteria:
- Be a Registered Nurse in Intellectual Disability (RNID) and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Nurses from other disciplines with minimum 3 years' experience in intellectual disability may also apply.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Staff Nurse in intellectual disability.
- At least 6 months’ experience in:
- Supporting staff,
- Leading/managing teams,
- Resource management,
- Administrative responsibilities.
- Knowledge and experience of:
- Health Act 2007 and HIQA Regulations (2013),
- Managing individuals with complex health needs,
- The Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse Policy.
- Strong commitment to:
- Person-centred care,
- Teamwork,
- Continuous Professional Development.
- Key-working experience.
- A management qualification is an advantage, or willingness to complete one.
Salary:
In line with HSE Revised Consolidated Clinical Nurse Manager 1 Salary Scale., Point 1: 57,780 to Point 8: 68,046 per annum based on 37.5 hours working week.
