Clinical Midwife / Nurse Specialist in endometriosis

2 x Full-time Permanent Contracts

The post holders will join an expanding team in the area of Women’s Health/Endometriosis.

The successful candidate will be:

·A registered Nurse and/or Midwife with 2 years post qualification full time experience, including one year in the specialist area of endometriosis.

·Women’s Health / Endometriosis experience and a relevant level 9 NFQI*

• *Level 8 educational qualification in the specialist area (equivalent to 60 ECTS or above) will be recognised up to September 2026.

If you are interested in furthering your career in Endometriosis, an opportunity exists for a suitable candidate who does not have the required experience or educational qualification for the above position to be employed as a candidate CNS/CMS (CNM1/CMM1 Grade).

The hospital will support you in gaining Women’s Health/Endometriosis experience and in achieving a level 9 qualification relevant to this field within 2 years.

The candidate will then progress to Clinical Midwife/Clinical Nurse Specialist grade in accordance with the NMBI framework for CMS/CNS.
