We maintain a comprehensive infection prevention and control service and provide expert advice, support and education to all healthcare staff. We strive to meet all of the National Standards for the prevention 2 and control of HCAIs in acute healthcare services set out by HIQA. We benchmark ourselves against best international standards and evidence based practices.
