Location of Post

HSE Mid-West Acute Services/ Mid-West Community Healthcare (50:50)

This is an appointment to HSE Mid West Acute Services/Mid-West Community Healthcare (50:50) by the Health Service Executive. The commitment for this post will be for 37.5 hours per week.

This post is 50% acute based and 50% community based to work with the Integrated Respiratory Consultant (or specified other Respiratory Consultant until Integrated Respiratory Consultant is in post) in further development of integrated care services.

This post may be subject to restructuring in the future to facilitate the re-organisation of services in line with new clinical models of acute and community services. This restructuring may entail an escalation of grade depending on candidate and site assessments. It is noted that the post must be congruent with the requirements of, and facilitate implementation of Sláintecare, and the HSE’s National Framework for the Integrated Prevention and Management of Chronic Disease, the National Clinical Programme for Respiratory and the Enhanced Community Care Business Case, including commitment to deliver the relevant performance outcomes.
