Clinical Project Facilitator Child Adolescent Mental Health Services Look Back Review Team, IHA And Future Regional Projects
Under the direction of the relevant IHA Service Lead / IHA Manager, the post holder will play a critical leadership role in restoring public confidence, strengthening governance arrangements and embedding a culture of safety, transparency and continuous improvement across CAMHS services within IHA Kerry.
The Clinical Project Facilitator position is pivotal to the rollout and implementation of North Kerry, Look Back Review Report and in the rollout of future regional clinical projects as directed by the IHA Lead / IHA Manager.
In addition, the post holder will:
· Lead, co-ordinate and provide clinical oversight for the implementation of the North Kerry CAMHS Look Back Review.
· Lead the North Kerry CAMHS Look Back Review Team.
· Lead future regional projects as directed by the IHA Service Lead/IHA Manager.
· Oversee and manage the administration of the CAMHS Compensation Scheme, liaising with legal representatives and relevant stakeholders as required
· Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Clinical Support Liaison Team
· Drive the delivery and embedding of the Look Back Review recommendations within CAMHS Kerry to strengthen governance, quality and service improvement
· Ensure alignment and consistency between North Kerry and South Kerry CAMHS in the implementation of the Look Back Review Report and across the South West Region, monitoring each phase to ensure full delivery and long-term sustainability
· Contribute to the strategic development of CAMHS across the region in line with national mental health policy and service reform priorities
· Support implementation of the national CAMHS Model of Care and related reform programmes
· Identify service gaps and develop improvement plans to enhance access, quality and integration
· Provide Project Management support as set out by IHA Service Leads/IHA Managers in the Region
· Lead on cross-area learning arising from the Look Back Review to embed sustainable system change
· To ensure the efficient, effective and safe delivery of health and personal social services for patients and clients, within national and IHA frameworks and available resources
· Ensure that appropriate standards are maintained with regard to ethics, confidentiality and legislation.
· Adequately identify, assess, manage and monitor risk within their area of responsibility.
· Provide leadership to staff in delivering services consistent with the new model of care to ensure integrated service for patients and clients
· Support clinical leadership in the delivery and governance of integrated service provision, ensuring safety and quality of service
· Create a management team which supports collective responsibility and action in all aspects of Health and Personal Social Service delivery
· Engage in the HSE performance achievement process in conjunction with their line manager and staff, as appropriate
· To act as spokesperson for the Organisation, as required.
Ensure ongoing projects are delivered and targets are met.
