There is currently one whole-time permanent vacancy available in I.C.U, Sligo University Hospital. The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as the need arises.

Purpose of the Post

• To enhance the Professional development and educational requirements for all Nursing staff in Critical Care
• Will be a resource and facilitate on orientation for new staff
• Provide all staff with guidance and direction on developing core skills and competencies
• Assist on new initiatives
• Provide Facilitation and co–ordination for Foundation Course & Post Graduate Diploma in Critical Care.
