Clinical Specialist Dietitian or Nutritionist for Special Feed Unit (SFU)

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to support patients requiring specialised nutrition by managing a team responsible for preparing special feeds and ensuring they are prepared, delivered, and monitored in line with clinical guidelines. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency throughout all stages of the special feeds process.

The successful candidate may be required to work across CHI sites and services in line with organisational requirements and the development of the new children’s hospital and associated services.

Essential Criteria:

· Be registered as a Dietitian by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU ( www.coru.ie )

Or

· Hold a Nutrition degree/ Postgraduate and be registered with Association for Nutrition (AFN) www.associationfornutrition.org

And

· Have a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience
