Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist

CHILDREN’S SERVICES, DUBLIN

PERMAMENT PART-TIME CONTRACT (17.5 Hours Per Week)

Salary:€72,119-€ 83,689* (lsi)

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience .

Essential:

· A BSc in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent CORU registered Occupational Therapy qualification

· Proof of up to date CORU Occupational Therapy registration

· 5 years post qualification experience

· 3 years recent and satisfactory experience with-in the field of complex children’s disability, in particular Physical Disability

· Experience and evidence of post-graduate training in upper limb interventions for children with disability and 24 hour postural management

· Full clean manual Irish driving licence.

· Proficiency in the English language.

Desirable:

· A proven record of clinical/academic achievement including development in the specialist area; evidence of post-graduate education in the designated clinical area.

· Knowledge of PDS

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and effective caseload management skills. In addition, they should possess good planning, organisation and effective time management skills together with the ability to work on their own initiative.

Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
