Co-op, Purchasing Controls

Position Summary

Support the Global Procurement and Purchasing Controls Departments in Teleflex Medical, INTL, Athlone in maintaining compliance to various standards and requirements within the supply chain. You will be responsible for ensuring activities associated with Supplier Diversity, Conflict Minerals, Labour Standards and Vendor on boarding are accurate and compliant to our documented procedures. This will include communicating with multiple suppliers on data integrity campaigns, managing an array of supplier responses and preparing performance dashboards for weekly updates to management

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Interface both verbally and in written format with external and internal customers and suppliers
• Use multiple data-based systems to prepare supplier data and analysis reports
• Participate in supplier meetings and drive resolution on issues relating to data / information
• Coordinate data integrity activities with Global Procurement, Supplier Quality and Business Unit functions
• Work closely with Commodity Management team on spend data categorisation
• Analyse current compliance programmes to identify efficiencies and streamline the processes
• Assist the Purchasing Controls team prepare for internal and external audits
• Backup for Purchasing Controls colleagues where necessary
• Support other activities as required within the department

• Computer proficiency in a Windows environment utilising Microsoft Office
• Enthusiastic with strong Communication and analytical skills
• Good judgment and problem solving ability and is capable of understanding the impact of decision making on both Teleflex Medical and their customers.
• Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision in a team environment
