Job Title: Little Kickers Coaching Operations Assistant
Job Details:
Working hours: Mon & Friday 9 am to 1.30 pm Sat & Sun 9 am to 12 pm (15 hours)
Salary: €285 per week
Contract: 4 month fixed term contract with potential for extension
Essential: Must be available for work from June to end of September
Essential experience:
Candidates must be able to demonstrate;
➢ experience of teaching very young & preschool children.
➢ Ability to confidently physically and vocally direct a class of up to 18 active childrens under close observation from guardians and parents.
➢ Adequate physical fitness and stamina sufficient to coach for three to four consecutive hours with short breaks.
➢ A personal commitment to sustaining professional practices in the workplace at all times including excellent personal timekeeping and punctuality.
➢ good administrative and organisational skills.
➢ experience of communicating with members of the general public and young children.
Job Summary
Little Kickers Coaching Operations Assistant involves coaching Little Kickers classes to an excellent standard in addition to performing office-based administrative duties as required.
Key Tasks
1. (Administration)
To pro-actively administer the day to day operations of the business which may include (this list is not exhaustive)
● The organisation, communication and detailed daily management of staffing rotas including planning holiday and emergency cover across all venues
● Assisting with the promotion, marketing and sales of Little Kickers activity sessions
● Dealing with venue managers and managing venue bookings
● Filing completed paperwork accordingly
● Dealing positively with day to day coaching and customer issues
● Escalating issues and problems to your employer in a timely and sensitive manner
● Assisting with office administration and other general business operations where required by your employer and where the needs of the business dictate.
2 . (Coaching)
● If a nominated Kit Holder: Transportation, storage, and maintenance of all Little Kickers equipment necessary for the conduct of your allocated Little Kickers sessions
● Timely arrival at and set-up of Little Kickers venues prior to session conduct (including prompt arrival at venue at least 15 minutes prior to the first session)
● Professional and proactive coaching of all allocated Little Kickers sessions in accordance with the activities set out in the Little Kickers session plans
● Maintenance of a physically safe environment for Little Kickers sessions at all times, including signing off pre-session safety checks by the assistant coach and strict adherence to Health and Safety guidelines throughout the sessions
● Periodic announcements to parents and carers attending sessions as requested by your employer
● Carrying out (where the assistant coach cannot do so) the responsibilities of a Nominated Emergency First Aider as set out in the Little Kickers Emergency First Aid procedures
● Help with the promotion, marketing, and sales of the Little Kickers programmes were requested by your employer
● Conduct and review practical training sessions for new employees as the Little Kickers programme expands in your area, where requested by your employer
● Supervision of the assistant coach or young workers at your session where appropriate and as requested by your employer
● General tidy up of the venue after the days programme is completed
● Timely reporting of issues and problems to your employer
