Working in partnership with our Trading Team, Buying & Merchandising teams and Commercial Retail functions as well as other internal teams, this role provides data, insights and recommendations on current and future opportunities across the business.This role will provide support and relevant data to offer direction on strategic, commercial and analytical decision making to key stakeholders. The role will specialise in an area of the business across Campaigns with the ability to rotate areas of specialism based on the needs of the business. Other areas of specialism include Pricing & Promotions, Licensed & DTR and Social Media stock availability.

  • What You'll Do:

    We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you'll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:

    • Manage processes and apply a commercial lens to ensure we launch our key campaigns with impact promptly, with the support of a Trading Assistant.
    • Partner with Product and Brand Business Partners, and the Licensed team, to agree on the key campaign launches to be supported and liaise throughout the season to ensure updates are captured
    • Partner with Planning & Space Planning and Supply Chain teams to monitor and prioritise campaign intake. Suggest solutions to issues such as delayed handovers.
    • Weekly tracking of campaign stock availability and highlighting concerns to all relevant Stakeholders.
    • Partner with Commercial teams to agree on the timing of stock release in advance of launch dates
    • Maintain trackers, manage sales reporting and analysis, and track stock and campaign profitability.
    • Partner with the Social Media team to confirm the availability of the product proposed for posting on channels, including Instagram
    • Provide training and support to the B&M teams on all Campaign Launch processes.
    • Manage, coach and develop the Trading Assistant while taking responsibility fortheir own career progression.
    • Deputise for the Trading Lead or Trading Manager where required
    • Support the wider Commercial Trading team with BAU trading activity and reporting

    • 3+ years of merchandising or equivalent experience.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills displaying confidence and strong influencing skills when presenting information to senior stakeholders.
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills (including advanced excel and experience with merchandising systems) with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work at pace under pressure while focusing on results.
    • Strong commercial acumen with a genuine interest in enhancing the customer experience
    • Highly collaborative, comfortable reaching out and building relationships with teams across the business.
