We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for our Commerical Graduate Programme with an immediate start.

The Role

Ryanair Holdings plc, Europe’s largest airline group, is the parent company of Ryanair DAC, Lauda, Buzz and Malta Air. Carrying over 152m guests p.a. on more than 2,400 daily flights from 86 bases, the group connects over 200 destinations in 39 states on a fleet of over 475 aircraft, with a further 210 Boeing 737’s on order, which will enable Ryanair Holdings to lower fares and grow traffic to 200m p.a. by FY24. Within the Commercial Graduate Programme, you will get to do 4 rotations within the following areas:- Commercial Finance, Scheduling, Revenue Management (Yield) and Route Development. Please see below for a more detailed outline

The Programme

At Ryanair you will be part of a team that makes key decisions on a daily basis, we don’t like to hang around and the reason we have achieved what we have in a short space of time, and why we are still growing is because we are not afraid to make bold business decisions. Joining Ryanair you will be given responsibility from day one, and we won’t hold you back, we encourage employees to share their new ideas on how we can improve the business. As a graduate trainee your experience will be broad but significant, allowing you to further develop your career within an area that interests you. Your role could see you tackle a wide range of business challenges and you will spend six months in four business areas over a two year period. The chosen business areas will depend upon your interests, business needs and performance at interview.

Rotations within the Commercial Finance area:

Commercial Finance:

  • Monthly market / competitor analysis including market shares
  • Assisting with research and planning projects
  • Propose and evaluate new route opportunities based on research undertaken
  • Develop Ryanair’s market intelligence reporting

Scheduling:

  • Integration of new aircraft deliveries into the network.
  • Management of slot portfolios at a number of airports
  • On-going management of relationships with airports
  • Analysis of schedule efficiency

Yield:

  • Achieving target load factors across a portfolio of routes
  • Achieving and surpassing revenue targets.
  • Conduct detailed market reviews, identifying potential threats and opportunities
  • Propose proactive pricing and yield management strategies

Route Development

  • Liaise with internal Marketing, Finance and Operations departments in Ryanair.
  • Manage and develop existing commercial relationships with Airports.
  • Be responsible for data gathering, analysis and report preparation on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.

Requirements

What you need to get in

You will need to be on track to achieve a minimum of 2.1 and have excelled in your degree course. We want inspirational graduates who have a story to tell and who have strong outside interests. Cultural fit at Ryanair is just as important as academics.
