Meet the team

The Creative Audio Department is a key creative department with RTE’s Audiences Channels and Marketing Division, working across Radio Imaging, Branding, Commercial Production, Sponsorships and Promotions, mainly servicing the wider Audio and Marketing teams.We are looking for an experienced Commercial Production and Imaging Coordinator to create industry leading audio branding including primarily Radio Imaging.Reporting to the Creative Audio Manager, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to provide Radio Imaging, Commercial Production, Jingles, Sweepers, Beds, Sponsorship Elements, On-Brand Audio and Creative Direction for our audio brands.

About the role:

  • Imaging RTÉ’s Radio Stations (including CHR, Classic Hits, Classical and Full-Service formats)
  • Promotions (Daily, Weekly and Big Picture)
  • Sponsorships
  • Commercial Production
  • Directing Sessions/ Liaising with Clients/Stakeholders
  • Working with Voiceover talent
  • Crafting On-Brand and innovative audio solutions
  • Must be able to work across Youth Format Productions

About you:

  • 3 years’ experience in delivering both Full Service and CHR format Radio Imaging
  • Proficiency in DAWs such as Pro Tools/ Ableton etc.
  • Audio Mixing skills
  • Session management experience, including directing voiceovers and singers
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Proactive, motivated self-starter

Nice to have (but not essential):

  • Experience in a live & non-linear multimedia/radio production and support environment
  • An understanding of the ongoing changes to the distribution and audience consumption of radio products across demographics
  • Knowledge of audio production both nationally and internationally

This appointment will be made at the Studio Coordinator grade and is being offered on a 2-year fixed term contract basis. The salary scale for this grade is from €44,567 to €58,902 gross per annum.
