Join us as a Commercial Vendor Manager

Lead and manage the partnerships with device vendors for Ireland. Be the owner of information and relations between the vendors and various departments within Three including Supply Chain and Marketing. Secure and track commercial offers and marketing opportunities against budgets. Support our Go To Market team to deliver strong vendor device launches and offers for our customers.

What else it involves

  • Management of all mobile device manufacturer relationships for Three Ireland and negotiating Manufacturer Support Funding (MSF) across all partnerships, supporting the Senior commercial Manager to achieve MSF targets for Ireland. Including contractual negotiations.
  • Develop vendor strategy plans and track performance to maximize Three’s ambitions and KPI’s, including alignment with cross company strategies. Including recovering of funding.
  • Support the development of Three’s device strategy, segmentation, range framework and tariffs and work closely with the Devices Team to develop range.
  • Support and manage Go To Market for ranged products and devices by achieving goals and targets for Three.
  • Support end to end device lifecycle management and exit strategy with SCL, including device performance and work with vendors to support sell through.
  • Develop and implement co-operative marketing plans with vendors that are aligned with Three’s strategy, ensuring they are fulfilled and reviewed.
  • Represent the Devices Team at relevant stakeholder meetings.
  • Be the lead in Ireland managing the monthly pricing process and strategy for handsets.
  • Work closely with vendors and measure their performance through arrange quarterly vendor review, planning sessions and C Level engagement meetings.
  • Work with Consumer and CVM teams to have an in-depth knowledge of consumer and business segmentation and develop upgrade proposals for vendor to generate additional funding.
  • Support the Senior Commercial Manager UK & Ireland with Group CKIOD Central Procurement Process and key vendor initiatives representing Three Ireland.
  • May require international travel.

The skills we're looking for

  • Strong understanding of the mobile industry, trends and technologies
  • Ability to influence a wide variety of stakeholders with strong proven relationship management.
  • Commercial, marketing, and technical understanding for mobile telecoms
  • Clear thinking and communications for influencing.
  • Proven ability to identify, adopt rational solutions and implementation of plans.
  • Demonstrate market delivery of mobile devices/products (or other consumer electronics)
  • Experienced in end-to-end product life cycle management with strong analytical skills
  • Live and Breathe the Three’s Values
  • Minimum 3 yrs experience managing products required.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-moving industry.
  • Strong skills in reporting, analytical and insights related to products and projects.
  • Experience with Commercial Contracts, Legal and Procurement engagement
  • Development of presentations and delivery of the same essential

Nice to Have

  • Third level education in Marketing, Technology or Business
  • Previous work experience in the Telecoms industry
