Commis Chef

Radisson BLU SligoSligo

Our Head Chef is looking for Commis Chefswith a keen interest in working in a very busy hotel kitchen and a passion for food. The candidates will need to possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a large team.

Main Duties:

To assist in the day-to-day running of your assigned section.

To ensure that the kitchen and all working areas are always maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

To ensure the over and under presentation of food quantity is kept to the minimum.

To carry out all duties as per the SOP manual.

To follow proper opening and closing procedures for each type of shift.

To ensure presentation, preparation and service of food for the guests is to the highest possible level.

To prepares and properly garnish food orders as they are received in accordance with recipes and proper plate presentation.

The ideal candidates for this position:

Must have a passion for food and a willingness to learn.

Must be flexible within the role.

Must have excellent communication skills.

Must be a team player.
