Communications, Digital Content and Learning Resource Support Worker
Reporting To
The Local Youth Partnership Co-ordinator and the Director of Quality Assurance for Further Education and Training (FET). The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Youth Service, Quality Assurance and Technology Enhanced Learning Departments.
Nature of PositionFixed-term, part-time contract until 31 December 2026. A probationary period will apply.
Continuation of the contract beyond this date will be subject to the availability of funding and ongoing programme requirements.
CMETB reserves the right not to extend or renew the contract where funding ceases or programme requirements change.

Salary Scale€39,490 per annum (full-time equivalent), pro-rata for the part-time post.
Salary will be paid in accordance with such rates as may be authorised by the Minister for Education and Youth from time to time.
This is a non-pensionable position.
Annual Leave23 days per annum (pro-rata for the part-time post).
The successful candidate will join the Local Creative Youth Partnership (LCYP) and Quality Assurance teams and will be based within the CMETB administrative region.
Travel throughout Counties Cavan and Monaghan will be required, and attendance at evening and weekend events may be necessary from time to time.
Key Duties and Responsibilities1. Programme Co-ordination and Stakeholder Engagement- Assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of LCYP and Quality Assurance projects, programmes, workshops, consultations, meetings and events.
- Support engagement and communication with schools, youth organisations, community groups, statutory agencies, creative practitioners, arts organisations and other programme partners.
- Maintain and update LCYP and Quality Assurance digital platforms and social media channels.
- Develop and schedule content promoting projects, opportunities, events and achievements.
- Assist in producing newsletters, reports, information materials, promotional resources and communication campaigns.
- Gather photographs, case studies, stories, creative outputs and evidence demonstrating programme impact.
- Apply instructional design models to programme content.
- Assist in the design, development and continuous review of digital learning resources, including presentations, graphics, videos, e-workbooks and online learning materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts in the creation of engaging, inclusive and accessible learning content and experiences using digital technologies.
- Assist with storyboarding, scripting, content review processes and stakeholder feedback cycles.
- Ensure all digital content complies with CMETB branding standards, accessibility requirements, social media guidelines and organisational policies.
- Provide a professional, responsive and customer-focused service to young people, stakeholders, staff and management.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across CMETB departments and external organisations.
- Participate in team meetings, planning activities, PL&D and organisational initiatives.
- Undertake such other duties as may reasonably be assigned by management.
- Relevant experience in an office, programme, education, youth work, community, arts or similar environment, including organising meetings, projects, programmes or events.
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work independently and collaboratively.
- High level of digital literacy and IT competence, including Microsoft Office and experience or knowledge of digital media, content creation, communications, learning resources or instructional design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, PowerPoint, Canva or other video editing software.
- Knowledge or experience of youth services, education, creativity, arts, community development, funded projects, stakeholder engagement or the voluntary sector.
- The successful candidate will be required to hold a full, valid driver's licence and have access to their own transport.
