Terms and Conditions
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £13.00 per hour plus 32p mileage (Mon to Fri)
£13.60 per hour plus 32p mileage (Sat & Sun)
Hours: Variable contracted hours available
Holidays: 25 days + 3 bank holidays per year
(Pro rata for part-time staff)
Probationary Period: 6 months
Notice Period: 4 weeks

Key Responsibilities:
- Empower Independence: Support Service Users in their homes, tailoring care to their individual needs as outlined in their Care Plans.
- Morning Routine Support: Assist with getting in and out of bed and dressing to ensure a confident start to the day.
- Personal Care Assistance: Provide compassionate support for washing, bathing, and showering, respecting dignity and preferences.
- Toileting Support: Assist with toileting needs discreetly and respectfully.
- Medication Management: Ensure medications are taken as prescribed, promoting health and well-being.
- Comfort and Cleanliness: Make beds and assist with domestic duties for a comfortable living environment.
- Safety First: Identify and report potential risks in the home to ensure safety.
- Team Player: Complete tasks as allocated, collaborating with team members in a dynamic rota system.
- Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records to track care progress.
- Observant and Proactive: Document and report any changes in Service Users’ conditions or preferences.
- Stay Connected: Attend Team Meetings for insights and collaboration.
- Support and Development: Engage in supervision and professional growth discussions with your Line Manager.
- Comprehensive Induction: Participate in a formal induction program for role success.
- Continuous Learning: Take part in ongoing training to enhance care skills and knowledge.
- Collaborative Spirit: Work effectively with colleagues to support each other.
- Policy Adherence: Follow all Policies and Procedures to maintain high care standards.
