Community Services Officer - Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Subject to funding

The post holder will assist the Policing and Community Safety Officer to fully and effectively deliver the EVAWG Action Plan 2026-2028, including the implementation of specific projects or programmes as required. To increase the awareness of EVAWG across the Ards and North Down area.

Please note 
  • There is 1 full time, temporary post for up to 2 years (may be extended) subject to funding.
  • Based in Signal Centre of Business Excellence, however the successful candidate will work throughout the Borough.
  • The working hours are Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 9.00 am to 4.30 pm. 
  • A reserve list may be kept from this recruitment exercise.
  • Applicants must be prepared to work outside of normal working hours at weekends, evenings and public holidays as dictated by the needs of the service.
  • Appointment will be subject to satisfactory completion of a medical questionnaire.
