Community Sport Active Inclusion Officer

Job Purpose: 
To manage, plan, and implement the delivery of an innovative Community Sport Programme across the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon, which will increase participation in sport and physical activity within all sections of the community and specifically but not exclusively, target those least likely to participate including:

• Those living in disadvantaged areas
• Youth at risk
• People with a disability
• Older people
• Older Frail People
• Black & Ethnic Minority Groups
• People with physical rehabilitation needs
• People with mental health needs
• Women and girls.

To use sport as a tool to develop community engagement and cohesion, and build capacity within communities, by responding to need and developing a range of creative solutions to complex issues, ultimately improving health & wellbeing, equality of opportunity, good ​​relations and community safety.
