COMMUNITY STAFF NURSE

TEES Day Service, Dublin

SPECIFIC PURPOSE PART-TIME CONTRACT of 28 HRS PER WEEK

Salary:€37,288 - € 55,477*(LSI)

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Essential:

• NMBI Registration in the RNID division.
• Be committed to pro-actively supporting individuals in all aspects of their daily lives and choices through a person-centred approach
• Have proven organisational, leadership, communication, interpersonal and teambuilding skills
• Ability to network with external agencies, PHN’s, GP’s, acute hospitals, schools etc.
• Experience of working in an interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team
• Have ability to manage a caseload and to work on own Initiative
• Have a Full Clean valid Driving Licence and assess to own vehicle

Desirable:

• Experience in epilepsy and diabetes
• Experience working in community setting providing supports to people with intellectual disabilities
• Have a good knowledge of HSE New Directions and the PCP framework.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Have experience of working with Behaviours of Concern and complex care needs and supporting mentoring staff teams in the delivery of a high quality to the Supported Individuals.
