Job Overview
The successful candidate will promote and sell a range of animal healthcare and veterinary pharmaceutical products across the Island of Ireland. The focus of this role will be to maximise sales of the Norbrook companion animal products with a particular emphasis on the equine portfolio, and to further develop strong business relationships

- Promoting and selling a range of animal healthcare and veterinary pharmaceutical products on the Island of Ireland
- Maximising sales of Norbrook companion animal products with a particular emphasis on the equine portfolio
- Keeping abreast of the latest industry trends and determining potential impact on Norbrook products and services
- Maintaining solid work relationships with customers by ensuring their needs are met
- Analysing sales and marketing data to determine the most effective sales and marketing techniques
- Attending trade shows to promote company products
- Meeting regularly with regional clients
- Monitoring sales KPIs and providing detailed reports to sales director
Applicants must therefore demonstrate the following essential criteria on their application form to be considered:
- Highly driven individual with 3 years previous relevant experience
- Solid knowledge of the veterinary industry
- Well organised with determination to succeed
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence people and comprehend technical information
- Willingness to travel throughout the Island of Ireland
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving techniques
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent collaborative and time management skills

- Tertiary qualification in life sciences or business
- Previous relevant sales experience
