REPORTING TO: Chief Financial Officer
SALARY SCALE: Competitive
HOURS OF WORK: 37½ hours per week, Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (with ½ hour unpaid lunch break) or as per departmental working agreement.
Job Purpose:
The Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust compliance programme for Belfast International Airport. They will ensure that all airport operations are conducted in strict adherence to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and best practices, with a specific focus on corporate governance, data protection and the company risk register.
The role will also require the job holder to work closely with individuals responsible for Health & Safety, Environmental Management, as well as the airport's operational teams, to ensure that their activities align with the company's overall compliance framework. They will act as an expert advisor to management and operational departments, fostering a culture of compliance and ethics at all levels of the company.
