Conference and Banqueting Manager

About the Role

Broadline Recruiters are currently recruiting an experienced Conference and Banqueting Manager for a luxury hotel in Louth This is an excellent opportunity for a polished and organised hotel professional with strong reservations experience, excellent guest communication skills and a strong understanding of hotel systems and standards.

Your Responsibilities

As Conference and Banqueting Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure all meetings and events are delivered in line with client specifications.

• Work closely with Sales and Food & Beverage teams to coordinate events

• Follow up with clients post-event to measure satisfaction and identify improvements.

• Manage banquet equipment and inventory to support operational efficiency.

• Manage recruitment, training, performance and development processes.

• Complete required documentation via Flow and Alkimii where applicable.

• Maintain strong knowledge of departmental procedures and equipment.

• Ensure all billing for events is completed accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Previous experience managing Meetings & Events or Conference & Banqueting operations in a hotel environment.

• Strong commercial awareness and budget management capability.

• Relevant Food Safety and Health & Safety knowledge desirable.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving ability.

• Proven leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary of €34,000–€38,000
