Apprenticeship Programme - Mechanical Plant Fitter Roadstone is the leading manufacturer and supplier of building materials in Ireland. Roadstone’s nationwide business includes the manufacture and distribution of a wide range of construction products including concrete, aggregates, asphalt and macadam, concrete blocks and paving products.

Applications are invited to enter the Roadstone Ltd Apprenticeship Programme for the following apprenticeships:

Plant Fitter

The apprenticeship will be registered and run under the regulations of Solas and all applicants will be called for interview to ensure suitability.

It is expected that the Apprenticeships will commence in August/September 2026 and that the location of the apprenticeships will be allocated in various company locations, such as;

Belgard Dublin

Moyne

Slane

Mullaghcrone

Bunratty, Clare

Galway

Key areas of responsibility:

Plant and machinery installation

Inspection and diagnostic assessment of running plant and machinery

Service and repair of plant machinery

Involved in ensuring we maintain and progress our high health, safety and environmental standards.

The following knowledge, skills, competencies are required for these roles:

• Team player with an ability to work on own initiative.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail orientated with an ability to operate to strict timelines/deadlines.

• Knowledge of Solas requirements.
